Background
Growing up around horses and dogs in Northern Ireland I progressed from Pony Club to riding often in County Kildare, Ireland, which is home to many world class horses and trainers. I have also bred and shown dogs (having a show champion and Best of Breed at Crufts),which means that I understand competition and the preparation both mental and physical that is involved in many different disciplines.
I have also been privileged, to have been one of the few civilians to be allowed to ride the Household Cavalry horses in London, on a regular basis.
